Mr. Khalilu Bah is the Programme Manager, Fiscal Policy, Debt Management and Regional
Integration Department, WAIFEM. Mr. Bah joined WAIFEM on March 01, 2022. He is a Gambian, born on October 10, 1985.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from the University of The Gambia and a master’s degree in Economic Policy Management from Columbia University in the City of New
York, U.S.A.
Prior to his appointment at WAIFEM, Mr. Bah has worked at the Central Bank of the Gambia since June 2013 at the Economic Research Department and rose to the rank of Senior Economist. He
benefited from many training courses held in The Gambia and abroad during his career with the Central Bank of The Gambia. He also worked as a Banking Assistant/Credit Analyst at
International Commercial Bank (ICB) now known as First Bank of Nigeria (FBN) Gambia Limited.
He is married with children.
