MR ABUBAKAR NOMA ADAMU

Mr. Abubakar Noma Adamu was born in Tambuwal, Sokoto State, Nigeria on the 16 th March,1966. He holds B.A(Hons) in International Relations and Masters
Degree in International Relations and Strategic Studies(MIRSS) from Lagos State University. Mr. Abubakar was awarded National Certificate in Education(NCE),
majored in Mathematics from the Institute of Education, Ahmadu Bello University(ABU) Zaria, Nigeria in 1988. He also bagged Diploma in Public Debt
Management from the prestigious United Nations Institute for Training and Research(UNITA) and also Certificate in French Language from the same Institute.
Mr. Abubakar started his working career as a Mathematics teacher at Government Secondary School, Dogondaji in Sokoto State before joining the services of Central
Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in 1989.He voluntarily retired from the Central Bank of Nigeria in 2005 after 16 years of meritorious service and engaged in private
business. He was an accomplished Officer in charge of Logistics in a reputable transport and logistics company, A M Bright Assets Ltd.
Mr. Abubakar has decades of manpower development experiences and administration prior to his joining WAIFEM in 2014 as a Research Officer.
He also attended several workshops and seminars on classroom management while in the services of the CBN and benefited immensely from many capacity building
programmes organized by the WAIFEM in the areas of Econometric Analysis and Presentation Techniques and Strategic Project Management.
His areas of interest include: Human Capital Development and Viable Economic Integration within the West African Sub-region and beyond.
