ABU-BAKARR MUSTAPHA FOFANAH, HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER, WAIFEM
Abu-Bakarr Mustapha Fofanah was appointed as Human Resources Manager effective September 1, 2023. He earned his Master’s in Business Administration (MBA) from the
Institute of Public Administration and Management (IPAM) and Bachelor of Arts of from Fourah Bay College, University of Sierra Leone.
He joined the Bank of Sierra Leone and deployed in the Human Resources Department January 2002 as a Banking Officer and rose through the ranks to the position of Senior
Manager. Prior to him joining the Bank, he taught at the Freetown Secondary School for Girls from September 1998 to December 2001.
Mr. Fofanah has attended several international and regional training courses, workshops and seminars organized by WAIFEM, International Management Training Consortium (IMTC),
Global Training Consortium (GTC, UK), African Institute of Management (AIMS, Ghana) on General Management, Leadership and Human Resource Management.
Mr. Fofanah is married with one biological son and four wards.
